1st grade also celebrated Ag Week with a visit from Shelby Galbreath with Toombs County Farm Bureau. Students discussed the parts and needs of a plant and created their own greenhouse. Students will observe their plant over the next few weeks in the classroom, and keep track of the progress. #agweek #shine #stingingwithsuccess
Kindergarten science classes enjoyed a presentation about plants from Austin Adams and Shelby Galbreath with Toombs County Farm Bureau. Each student got to make their own miniature green house. #agweek #shine #stingingwithsuccess

TCES' Field Day will take place on Friday, May 12th. T-Shirts are on sale now for $15 (and up for larger sizes) until April 18th. You may stop by the front office to complete an order form to purchase or return the order form and money to your student's homeroom teacher. Checks can be made payable to Toombs Central Elementary.
