
LUES is studying the We Are Connected Mindset: At this age, students generally enjoy working with others and have large friendship groups. The We Are Connected Mindset fosters an acceptance of others and encourages us to identify people who can help us reach our dreams.

Third Grade students enjoyed a fun and educational day at AG Day held on Oct.11th at the Toombs County AG Center. Students learned about different types of farming and agricultural businesses. A special thanks goes out to the Toombs County Farm Bureau for hosting the event.











LUES will celebrate the 50th day of school on Oct. 17.
Dress like the 1950's or dress like a historical figure from the 1950's.
Dress Code will be enforced- length of tops and bottoms, backs on shoes.

Students will learn the We Are Connected Mindset for the month of October. This unit will encourage us to seek out and maximize positive relationships with people that can help us achieve our dreams. We will explore the idea of surrounding ourselves with people who build us up and inspire us to live our best life, and we will learn to actively seek ways to offer kindness in order to strengthen these relationships.

For our second StoryVoice read aloud today, Mrs. Williford's class was actually able to talk with the author Mike Lowery about his book, Everything Awesome About Dangerous Dinosaurs! They chose our school out of all the schools participating! The students were so excited!
