This Thanksgiving, Mrs. Payne's 5th Grade English Language Arts class embarked on a unique and enriching experience that went beyond the traditional curriculum.
Before digging in, Mrs. Payne took a moment to discuss the significance of table manners. The students practiced these skills as they passed their feast items around the tables, creating an atmosphere of gratitude and camaraderie.
Students in Mrs. Reese's first period math class got to celebrate with a movie and donuts today as a reward for meeting behavior expectations and working hard in math class. Thank you Dalton Gibbs for bringing the donuts!

This is a friendly reminder to put your child's name in his/her jacket with this cooler weather. Also, remember to check for head lice that may easily transfer from jackets and hats. It's less common for lice to spread through clothing but it's always a good idea to remind your child not to share hats or winter clothing that comes in contact with hair.

Magnet Mania: Gather various objects from around the house and investigate which ones are magnetic. This is a fun way to explore the concepts of attraction and repelling.

Volcanoes: Create a volcanic eruption with a simple baking soda and vinegar experiment. Add a little food coloring, and your child will be even more excited! It's an engaging way to learn about chemical reactions.
