LUES November's 7 Mindsets Focus: ATTITUDE OF GRATITUDE Students will learn the Attitude of Gratitude Mindset. The unit will guide students in the understanding that we are all unique, and if we focus on what we enjoy and what brings us happiness, these things will multiply. Seeking the positives in every situation and showing gratitude more often will help us feel better and become happier.

Get ready for our 2nd Annual COMMUNITY PEP RALLY on Thursday, November 2nd! Save the date to come out to The Pit as we gear up for our rivalry football game, celebrate the success of our fall sports, and engage in some healthy competition through various games! Below are descriptions of games and activities community members can sign up to participate in! Dress Like a Football Player Race:  We will pick 5 participants for this race who will each team up with a player from our varsity football team! They will start on the same yard line and will run suicides up and down the field picking up and putting on different parts of a football uniform with each suicide. The first player to complete the race fully dressed in their uniform wins! We are looking for participants ages 7-13. Sign ups close Tuesday, October 31st! 5th Grade had a wonderful day of dress up and generosity at the candy walk. We are so thankful for the out pouring of care and goodies from our sponsors and donors for the candy walk. Every student wore the biggest and brightest smile. Thank you all.

LUES Red Ribbon Week Friday- 10/27/23 Costume Day- "Say BOO to Drugs" No Masks or Weapons Dress code will be enforced  Students or parents who have questions about the acceptability of their costume should check with the office prior to wearing the costume to school.  Students wearing inappropriate costumes will need to call home to have a change of clothes brought up to them.
