Recharge- Children are usually tired and drained after a day of testing. Plan activities to help them recharge and release any tension they may be feeling. These could be things like a movie night, playing outside, or a family walk.

Mrs. Kennedy's 3rd grade class have written chapter summaries from an in class read aloud, titled "The Bad Guys". Mrs. Kennedy created a booklet of all the students printed summaries, and students created a drawing to represent their chapter summary. Great job guys! #shine
Mrs. Larsen's and Mrs. Reese's fifth grade math classes enjoyed the day doing some end of the year review with an Easter egg hunt.

School Support- Encourage your child to ask questions and seek clarification from their teachers if they are unsure about any material or concepts. This should be done prior to test day because teachers are not allowed to help them on the day of the test.

Address Test Anxiety- Test anxiety is normal, so if your child experiences this anxiety, teach relaxation techniques and coping strategies, such as deep breathing exercises or breaks, to manage the stress.
