Ms. McCoy’s classes released their butterflies! Goodbye to Belle, Billy, Bruno, Chrysalis, Crystal, Dino-Nugget, Bob the Builder, Landon, Snowy, and Weston — it was so fun watching you grow and transform. Fly high, little butterflies! 🌸

The TCES Spanish Club learned about the country of Equatorial Guinea. The students learned about their foods, animals, landmarks, government, and flag. Finally, we got to make a giraffe, which is Equatorial Guinea’s national animal. The giraffes were so cute and tasty too!

1st Grade has had a fun dress up week in honor of Dr. Suess!! 🐱 🎩 ❤️

Second grade has thoroughly enjoyed Read Across America Week! Thank you so much to all of the special readers that came to visit each of our classrooms.

Over the past few weeks, Mrs. Bateman's homeroom students have had the incredible opportunity to learn from real professionals and volunteers in our community. Through career visits and meaningful conversations, they discovered how passions, skills, and hard work can shape the future. These experiences are helping inspire the career research projects they will soon turn into their very own published class book. We are so thankful for the community members who took the time to invest in our students and help them dream big about what they can become. 📚✨
Thank you to Mrs. Malory Kicklighter with Pembroke Pharmacy and Boutique, Mr. Josh Thigpen with AEMC, Mrs. Keeley Wilkes with MadDash Cookie Co, Mrs. Ashley Martin & Mrs. Mandy Johnson with Imago Dei Missions, Mrs. Danielle Saffold (Army Veteran), Mr. Mitch Bellflower with Lyons First Baptist Church, and Dr. Merrick Kilgore with Kilgore Animal Hospital.

Dr. Seuss week fun in 4th grade!

We had a great time hosting a Toombs County Schools booth at the SECCA Job Fair today, connecting with local high school students and sharing the many career opportunities available right here in our district. We are proud to showcase how the Toombs County School System invests in students and future professionals.
It’s always exciting to meet students who are exploring their next steps. We hope to see many of them back with us in the future!

Colt has passed 20 or more iReady lessons with 90% or higher accuracy in Mrs. McBride’s 4th grade ELA class. Way to go!

Students in Ms. McCoy’s classes had an exciting day of learning! In science, they learned about static electricity and discovered how it works. In math, they took teachers’ pizza orders and divided the pizzas into halves, thirds, and fourths.

Parents to Breakfast this morning with Mrs. Russell's class. ❤️

The Easter Bunny is coming to TCES. You will want a picture of your child with him for sure! Check your child's book bag for the order form.
